thank you Bettina for all the photos!

what a week it was.......it was about a 5 1/2 hr drive from Michael's...Andy, Addison, Bettina and my self took the Tahoe and equipment trailer and left the barn at 6 AM......Amy stayed behind and traveled withthe ponies. We set up quite an American camp with Jennifer and her 3 ponies, Susue and Shelley, Lori with her 4-in-hand and then Randy Cadwell......we all settled in...drove the ponies Tuesday with Fred Freund who was our coach since Michael was in Conty, France at The Horse Pair World Championships with Joe Yoder, Caty and Misdee.......he was missed but we made it through. Started hazard walking on Wednesday...they were all excellent and placed so close so that it really would be a spectators marathon......dressage...ugh...not so great but not dead last....just have to get the new pony and Ben together more......we did dressage on Thursday after the single ponies...and was 26th....oops!!! on to marathon....it was really cold and rainy.....we went at 11:50 so I was able to watch some before I went...easy section A and D...at the vet check we were freezing.....in the 1st hazard we were so fast until I dropped my right rein...not good but found our way easily and off to the rest of the hazards......no glaring mistakes but over all just not fast enough......and remained in 26th...so now for cones...great course but very fast...wonders of wonders...no balls and 4 secs slow .......in the end I was 6th in dressage and 16th overall...yippee!!!!....did the victory gallop...so much fun.....so now we are home....drilling dressage...hoping for MAx to recover so he can be in the dressage pair with Avalon...we shall see tomorrow when we do our 1st trot with him...practice, practice.......still can't believe I am here....training at this level...we now have 3 weeks till we head to Slovenia......
